Funky as fuck.

This tracks chews bubble gum and kicks ass. But it hasn't run out of bubble gum yet :P

SHADOWFOX2 responds:

Awwwwwwwww yeaaaah :duke: :duke: :duke: :duke: :duke: :duke:

OH THE POTENTIAL

First bit was cool, dude, but the voice part sounds lack lustre... GOTTA HAVE ENTHUSIASM MAN! Also, I don't think this really goes in funk...
You show promise, bro.

OH MY GOD I LOVE THIS

You win instantly for covering a Weebl's stuff track.

...isn't it "Watch out I'm eating a bagel?
Eighteen hundred thousand more babies on the way" though?

DruoxtheShredder responds:

It's a cover, not a recreation. I had to at least make it different.

Yeah.

It's not because I didn't care enough to double check lyrical accuracy.

Not at all.

Win!

Funky as all hell. Sweeeeeeet.

Supercool describes the song too!

Getting the ska on a little bit with this. Seriously seriously awesome! I have no criticism for this track, it's just really well done!

This is funking up in my pants :D

Coolest, funkiest thing I've ever heard that's all synths bro. Keep funkin' it yo :P

Realmguys responds:

Thank you very much for saying so, I appreciate the review! :)

Near the mark...

As a piece of music, I would rate it a 10/10, you've done awesomely with this track. But I've given it an 9/10 because you were trying to combine all parts of metal. I'm not sure you got EVERYTHING. If you do a revision of this, see if you can jimmy some math metal complicated passage in there, cause I'm hearing more and more of that in metal these day. Also. Um. I didn't hear any instances of that sorta "screech" you hear in a fair bit metal. Like at the end of a passage the guitars just go "wooooorrrp!" Do you know what I mean? I find it hard to explain. But I feel as a collection of everything metal into one song, those sort of elements should be added in there.

But on it's own, this is fucking brilliant. 9/10, 5/5 and downloaded. You sir win at life.

deadlyfishes responds:

I know exactly what you're talking about, but that's not really from the pure essence of the "metal" genre. That's more of what you hear from the newer sub-genres of metal. It's not really trying to convey EVERY style of metal, but it focuses on the core elements of the genre, sure minute elements were excluded, but the point was made and it was done very well. I do have more "metal" that you are referring to on my website! Check it out on my website: matthewpablo.com Thanks again for the review and feedback!

YES!

I didn't like the trombone either :P It didn't fit, and was sloppy (maybe because he hadn't played the bit before those 80 tries, was it? :P)

This sounds so much more awesome. And if you add vocals, it will be fucking amazing.

fizzypop2 responds:

Got a remake of this one on the way. Sounds a lot different but has a very similar feel to it. Keep an eye on the audio portal for it. ;)

Good but short.

On the drums side, better than us atm; our drummer (who is actually originally a guitarist) doesn't have a drum kit, so we use a fail kit, as our guitarist (who DOES own one, but can't play it well) won't let us use his any more. It consists of a floor tom, bass drum, hi hat and a ride (which is the only quality piece of the kit). The bass pedal is missing the head, so we use a screw driver wrapped in foam.

To the music:
I liked where it was going, my only complaint was that it was short. Lol at the "man, FUCK ska."

I showed you guys' "Skabnoxious" to a bunch of my friends the other week, btw, they said it was one of the greatest things they'd ever heard. I've never seen people laugh so much at a song.

fizzypop2 responds:

Well.. this just made my day :)

Keep getting these out dude, it's amazing.

You guys are great! I love this!

What's the band name, by the way, cause I have your song It'll Be Alright as being by thewhaleswillcome.

thewhaleswillcome responds:

The band name is Skautomatic Weapons :D

we're recording another song soon, when it's done i'll post it up here :3
